Sallyann is an actor and comedian and Silverlight is the first ever story she has submitted to a competition. She had the idea for its theme when she found out Hawkinge community centre, a venue she’s performed comedy in many times, used to be a Second World War RAF base. Sallyann has always been fascinated by WW2 history, especially anything connected to aeroplanes and their pilots.
